Book Review: Secrets by Robin Jones Gunn

Jessica Morgan wants desperately to forget the past and begin a new life. She chooses a small, peaceful town tucked away in Oregon’s Willamette Valley as the place to start over – Glenbrooke. Once there, Jessica conceals her identity from the intriguing personalities she meets-including the compassionate paramedic who desires to protect her and the jealous woman who wants nothing more than to destroy her.

I chose to review this book in ebook form from the Christian novelist, Robin Jones Gunn, entitled “Secrets,” the first book in her Glenbrooke series. I was intrigued by the description that mentioned the main character was moving to a small town to “start over” in her life, to run from a lifestyle or past she could not bear any longer (I know of couple of people who have done this ;p).  Anyways, I was able to get lost in this book as I commuted to and from work each day.  It is definitely worth reading.

A clean cute romance not bogged down with all the other stuff that romance novels contain. The storyline flowed, some of the characters were really good and the interactions and dialogue was easy to follow.  I truly enjoyed this book.

Thanks to the Blogging for Books program for a free ebook copy of this novel in return for my review! Please note that all opinions expressed are my own.
